Today we have installed, tested and commissioned a Virtual reality simulation platform at the American University of Beirut. It offers surgery residents a new way of discovering surgery both basic skills and advanced without the risk and the stress of a possible harm to the human patient. The platform offers modules that cover laparoscopic procedures as well as basic cystoscopy and resection procedures in urology.
